About This Role
Thales seeks a Legal Counsel & Contract Manager in Singapore to support the Southeast Asia region's MCS Business Line. This role involves advising on contractual structures, drafting agreements, and managing compliance throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Advise on legally sound contractual structures during the offer/bid phase.
- Draft and negotiate offers, contracts, and cooperation agreements with clients/partners.
- Conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation plans for projects.
- Manage contractual framework upkeep, tracking deviations during project execution.
- Contribute to the Group's compliance program (Antitrust, GDPR, Trade Compliance).
- Monitor and manage disputes arising during project execution.
Requirements
- 8-10 years as legal counsel in a multinational company.
- Advanced degree (Master's equivalent) with Law/Contract Management specialization.
- Proven experience in international legal contexts.
- Strong understanding of SaaS models, IP rights, and data protection.
- Proficiency in third-party review and compliance analysis techniques.
- Analytical skills to propose pragmatic solutions.
- Proactivity, excellent communication, and cross-cultural awareness.
- Willingness to travel regionally (monthly) and internationally (annually).
