Team Lead Cloud Security Engineer

Lead a high-performing team of Cloud Security Engineers in this player-coach role at Thales. Drive operational excellence, enhance security posture through threat research, and ensure high customer satisfaction in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach Cloud Security Engineers, establishing career development plans.
• Oversee post-sales service delivery, including migration support and proactive monitoring.
• Analyze customer data to provide actionable recommendations for security improvements.
• Research new attack vectors and build advanced monitoring tools with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance Enterprise Services delivery efficiency.
• Manage team KPIs and align with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• 6-8 years in cybersecurity/cloud security operations, with 2-3 years leading a team.
• Proven experience leading/mentoring technical teams (ideally Cloud Security).
• Deep technical knowledge of AppSec concepts (OWASP Top 10, WAF, API security).
• Experience defining team performance metrics (KPIs) and managing service continuity.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer escalations.
