Grab seeks a Director, Public Affairs in Singapore to shape and drive policy on data, gig economy, and 'big tech' regulation. This high-impact role involves advising GrabHQ on policy matters and building crucial government relationships.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Grab's liaison with public stakeholders and enhance network presence.
- Analyze policy issues, develop positions, and provide advocacy recommendations.
- Develop and implement platform policy and advocacy strategy for Grab's goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on public affairs campaigns.
- Counsel Grab's leaders on priorities and plans.
- Lead engagement strategy with government bodies and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- 10+ years in public/government affairs, policy, consulting, or regulatory roles in Singapore.
- 3-4 years at a director level experience required.
- Knowledge of Singaporean government priorities and political developments.
- Proven ability to build diverse external stakeholder relationships (govts, community).
- Experience leading cross-team initiatives.
- Demonstrated team management experience.
- Readiness to solve unforeseen challenges and adapt strategies.
