Process Support Engineer (Plating)

About This Role

Applied Materials seeks a Process Support Engineer in Singapore to provide critical, on-site technical support for advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes. This role involves hands-on problem-solving, process development, and data analysis with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site customer support, installations, and equipment service/repair.
• Develop leading-edge processes for advanced semiconductor chip manufacturing with customers.
• Design experiments (DOE), analyze data statistically, and compile technical reports.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analyses on process/product problems.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers to build trust.
• Apply knowledge of best practices and serve as a resource for junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in relevant engineering/science field (Chemistry, Physics, EE, etc.).
• 4-7 years of semiconductor process experience, preferably in Plating.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder consensus.
• Ability to work closely with customers on-site/in cleanroom daily.
