Senior Data Scientist (Integrity) role focusing on Computer Vision and Multimodal LLMs for OCR, KYC verification, and document/image information extraction at Grab Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Build state-of-the-art models for OCR and Vision LLMs to analyze complex documents.
- Architect document processing pipelines from concept to live production deployment.
- Deploy models into high-throughput production environments with monitoring and optimization.
- Drive innovation by researching advancements in AI to translate cutting-edge research into tangible product impact.
- Explain technical concepts and model trade-offs to stakeholders in product, policy, and operations.
- Design, train, and fine-tune models to support enhanced user onboarding and verification workflows.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or related technical disciplines.
- At least 3 years of experience in tech companies or academic institutions with similar role.
- Proficiency in Python, Spark, and SQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as git and git-flow.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Ability to build at massive scale and own end-to-end solutions.
