Data Center Technician

About This Role

Microsoft Data Center Technician role requiring high school or equivalent education, GED, apprenticeship experience, and security screening; duties include troubleshooting equipment, performing diagnostics, maintaining client focus, and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to issue tracking through escalations and seeking guidance on timely resolution.
• Participates in daily safety briefings, completes required training aligned to the role and workload.
• Completes assigned tickets efficiently while meeting established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with guidance from other technicians.
• Complies with security and data management procedures and policies with guidance from other technicians.
• Maintains a strong client focus to understand the impact of their work when completing tickets and assigned tasks.
• Contributes to a positive and effective team environment by sharing information, contributing to regular team meetings, and asking questions.

Requirements

• Completed High/Secondary School, GED, an apprenticeship/vocational qualification or equivalent experience.
• Background Check Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
