About This Role
Applied Materials Manager III, Customer Engineer is a full-time role in Singapore requiring direct customer relationship management, coaching engineers, and financial oversight for District Sales Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains customer relationships with all relevant individuals in the district at all levels.
- Manages, coaches, and directs customer engineers in their respective districts.
- Responsible for salary planning, career planning, corrective actions, and establishes performance appraisals.
- Initiates reports necessary for the business and serves as the prime interface with Product Divisions.
- Executes escalation procedures and monitors the CSD Award Program quarterly results.
- Manages RMA procedure, measures engineer effectiveness, and takes corrective action with customer engineers.
Requirements
- Must have a strong background in customer service and engineering support.
- Requires experience managing multiple engineers or teams within a district.
- Must possess strong financial forecasting and cost efficiency skills for the district.
- Needs experience with RMA procedures, system installation, and reliability monitoring.
- Must demonstrate leadership abilities to administer company policies affecting subordinates.
- Requires understanding of global business conduct and compliance with Applied Materials standards.
