About This Role
A Regional Physical Security Engineer role at Applied Materials in Singapore, requiring up to 30% travel and experience with enterprise physical security systems like C•CURE 9000, Avigilon, and GSOC.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Regional Security Operations team to design and engineer physical security systems for new construction and upgrades.
- Serve as a local subject matter expert in video surveillance, access control, visitor management systems, and advanced controls.
- Develop detailed design layouts, technical specifications for RFPs, and coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance.
- Conduct QA evaluations during construction phases and support security operations teams with incident investigations.
- Partner with GSOC to ensure seamless system integration and operational readiness for deployments.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and engineering of enterprise physical security systems.
- Proven expertise with platforms such as Software House Access Control Systems (C•CURE 9000), Avigilon, and Genetec.
- Strong understanding of global security standards, system integration, and infrastructure requirements.
- Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation including design drawings and specifications.
- Experience creating Bill of Materials (BOMs) and developing accurate, scalable cost models for security projects.
- Demonstrated success supporting 20–30 concurrent projects across different stages of design and execution.
- Track record of working with Security Operations, GSOC teams, construction firms (A&E), and facilities groups in complex environments.
