NPI/NPT Engineering Project Manager

About This Role

Applied Materials is seeking a Project/Program Manager to oversee NPI/NPT engineering project transitions, including technical assessments and manufacturing readiness for new products in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program transitions between different locations and define timelines for new product development.
• Conduct technical assessments to ensure necessary resources are available during manufacturing PDP tasks for NPI projects.
• Manage tactical build activities and drive specific tasks within the PDP to ensure material readiness.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and meet PDP requirements for new products.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate readiness for managed, controlled, and validation builds for new products.
• Drive technical issues to resolution by working collaboratively with engineering teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with manufacturing experience.
• Proven experience in project management, specifically managing new product transitions.
• Strong knowledge of the Product Development Process (PDP) and new product introduction (NPI) methodologies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership abilities capable of managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address issues during transition processes.
• Proficient in project management tools and software, with experience in semiconductor industry processes.
