About This Role
Applied Materials is seeking a Project/Program Manager to oversee NPI/NPT engineering project transitions, including technical assessments and manufacturing readiness for new products in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Oversee program transitions between different locations and define timelines for new product development.
- Conduct technical assessments to ensure necessary resources are available during manufacturing PDP tasks for NPI projects.
- Manage tactical build activities and drive specific tasks within the PDP to ensure material readiness.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and meet PDP requirements for new products.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate readiness for managed, controlled, and validation builds for new products.
- Drive technical issues to resolution by working collaboratively with engineering teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with manufacturing experience.
- Proven experience in project management, specifically managing new product transitions.
- Strong knowledge of the Product Development Process (PDP) and new product introduction (NPI) methodologies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership abilities capable of managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address issues during transition processes.
- Proficient in project management tools and software, with experience in semiconductor industry processes.
