Technical Project/Program Management (Automation)

About This Role

Applied Materials seeks a Technical Project/Program Manager to coordinate automation technology projects, track progress, and support engineering activities within the Automation Technology Group in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating automation development projects, including schedules and documentation.
• Work closely with software, controls, hardware, and systems engineers to gather requirements and track deliverables.
• Support communication between engineering teams and stakeholders; help document customer needs and feedback.
• Monitor project progress, update project trackers, and escalate risks or delays to senior PMs.
• Participate in system integration activities, including testing and issue tracking.
• Prepare project reports, meeting notes, and status updates for internal reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Few years of experience in engineering, automation, systems integration, or technical coordination.
• Basic understanding of automation systems, software development concepts, or equipment integration.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
• Eagerness to learn project management practices and grow into a larger leadership role.
