Applied Materials is seeking a Manager in Operations Management to lead production teams, optimize capacity, and drive quality improvements while ensuring safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of production employees
• Assign work, set priorities, and manage operational schedules
• Provide technical expertise and ensure alignment of tactical plans with customer requirements
• Prevent accidents and injuries by implementing safety policies and procedures
• Develop personnel including training, career development, and performance management
• Analyze data to optimize production capacity and drive Lean initiatives

Requirements

• Standing for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in tight spaces, bending, squatting, or reaching
• Use of hand and power tools
• Ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals
• Use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as coveralls, hoods, and safety glasses
• Understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct
