Manufacturing Technician (4pm - 1.30am)

About This Role

Applied Materials seeks a Manufacturing Technician in Singapore to build, repair, and test display and wafer fabrication equipment using advanced tools like vacuum pumps and electronic measurement equipment in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and test various electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on equipment components.
• Receive parts, inspect for defects, and troubleshoot processes to improve them.
• Use test fixtures, leak detectors, vacuum pumps, and electronic measurement equipment to test assemblies.
• Complete job documentation including data entry for progress, work expense, and labor details.
• Perform computer programming, repair software installs, or install software to improve processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry/military experience.
• Ability to follow standard operation procedures (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Associate's degree or technical education, certifications, or trainings.
