About This Role
Applied Materials seeks a Manufacturing Technician in Singapore to build, repair, and test display and wafer fabrication equipment using advanced tools like vacuum pumps and electronic measurement equipment in a cleanroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components using work orders.
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs under moderate supervision.
- Receive parts for audits to ensure availability and inspect parts for defects.
- Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies.
- Complete job documentation including data entry about progress, work expense, and labor details.
- Perform computer programming, repair, or software installs if needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- 1β2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry/military experience.
- Ability to follow standard operation procedures (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Associate's degree or technical education, certifications, or trainings.
