Manufacturing Technician

About This Role

Applied Materials is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Singapore to build, repair, and test display and wafer fabrication equipment using advanced tools like vacuum pumps and electronic measurement equipment in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components using work orders.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts for audits to ensure availability and inspect defects in components.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies.
• Complete job documentation including data entry for progress, work expense, and labor details.
• Perform computer programming, repair, or software installs on test fixtures.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry/military experience.
• Ability to follow standard operation procedures (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Associate's degree or technical education, certifications, or trainings.
