About This Role

Director of Interest Rate Trading for Global Markets Division requires 10+ years in banking with 3+ years in trading, JLPT N1 certification for Tokyo approvals, and expertise in FX/IR derivatives to manage client flows and revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Provide FX and IR products to enhance core value for MUFG bank.
• Support HOD/DH in building FX and IR products under AGMD business.
• Lead development of FX/IR Derivative products to ensure on-time implementation and budget adherence.
• Review presentation materials for pitches and communicate with stakeholders across Tokyo Head Office divisions.
• Balance risk and opportunities to meet individual targets while aligning with MUFG values.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and manage stakeholder collaboration across branches.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of banking industry experience.
• Over 3 years of trading experience in derivatives, with strong track record in global FX and IR products.
• Minimum JLPT N1 certification for effective stakeholder communication in Tokyo Head Office approvals.
• Demonstrated expertise in industry trends and competitor analysis within FX/IR derivatives landscape.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate effectively with multiple departments.
• Solid understanding of legal and accounting principles for product evaluation and compliance.
