About This Role

The Vice President, Business Relationship Manager (Transaction Banking) is a strategic partner for the Transaction Banking Office in Asia tasked with managing end-to-end demand, prioritizing initiatives, and driving operational efficiency through AI and data utilization.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the single ASO front door for Transaction Banking-related technology and process improvements.
  • Understand business issues to translate them into clear scope, expected outcomes, and prioritized demand items.
  • Partner with leadership and IT to translate strategic objectives into prioritized technology initiatives based on business value.
  • Manage the Operations demand pipeline, service backlog, and initiative inventory to align with ASO portfolio management.
  • Shape practical Operations improvement initiatives using reusable capabilities like AI, data, and workflow tools.
  • Work with the AI & Data Team to pilot, govern, and operationalise data use cases for Transaction Banking.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services with a background in Transaction Banking.
  • Experience in market products such as payments, deposits, loans, and front-to-back operations processes.
  • Experience bridging business and IT teams to translate needs into requirements, scope, priorities, and business cases.
  • Experience driving system development, process improvement, digital transformation, or automation initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across business, technology, regional/country teams, and other control functions.
  • Good understanding of investment planning, cost-benefit analysis, prioritisation, and budgeting.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to structure complex business issues clearly.
