Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms for automated defect classification and yield optimization
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to process high-volume manufacturing sensor data
- Collaborate with process engineering teams to translate factory challenges into machine learning solutions
- Deploy and monitor deep learning models in production environments using MLOps best practices
- Design and integrate ML components into existing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Conduct rigorous statistical analysis to validate and improve model performance over time
- Develop data visualization tools and dashboards for real-time factory monitoring
- Document technical specifications and model architectures for cross-functional engineering teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical engineering field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development with a focus on machine learning
- Proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies including Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka
- Strong understanding of SQL and experience managing complex industrial datasets
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of software version control using Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Solid foundation in statistics, probability, and linear algebra for data modeling
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills applied to manufacturing environments
- Effective communication skills for working with global technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced smart manufacturing environment
- Prior experience with semiconductor process data or Industry 4.0 standards is preferred
