Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain edge and backbone network infrastructure supporting semiconductor fabs and remote facilities
- Optimize network performance and reliability for critical manufacturing systems and data flows
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues impacting production environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and factory automation
- Implement network security measures to protect sensitive manufacturing data and intellectual property
- Provide technical support and escalation for network-related incidents affecting fab operations
- Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions to support new process nodes and capacity increases
- Document network architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience designing and supporting large-scale enterprise or industrial networks
- Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies
- Experience with network automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, REST APIs)
- Strong knowledge of network security principles and implementation (firewalls, VPNs, ACLs)
- Familiarity with industrial network protocols and manufacturing environments preferred
- Cisco CCNP or equivalent professional certification required
- Experience with network monitoring and performance analysis tools
- Ability to work in cleanroom environments and adhere to fab safety protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex network issues
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with global engineering teams
- Willingness to travel to domestic and international fab sites as needed
