About This Role
Roche seeks an MES & Control Systems Engineer in Singapore to manage the high-tech backbone of manufacturing operations. This role ensures compliance, performance, and audit readiness for critical IT applications in a 24/7 GMP environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as System Owner for manufacturing IT applications, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
- Manage the full lifecycle of the MES system (Rockwell PharmaSuite).
- Define and execute the MES system roadmap aligned with global strategy.
- Develop electronic recipes (BOM/MM) based on biologics manufacturing knowledge.
- Provide 24/7 troubleshooting for system and network issues across OT systems.
- Advocate for safety, security, and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- B.S./M.S. in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science, or IT).
- 3+ years in biologics manufacturing operations.
- 3-5 years hands-on experience with commercial MES platforms.
- Strong understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Proficiency in IT/OT integration.
- Knowledge of LIMS, PI Data Historian, ERP, or Quality Management Systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to provide 24/7 support when necessary.
