Key Responsibilities
- Main Purpose of the Role Develops and implements company and regulatory quality standards in Laboratory facility.
- Knowledgeable of industry and governmental regulations affecting product quality.
- Develops, implements, revises, and maintains quality standards, tools and methods for processing materials into finished products.
- Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment.
- Analyzes production limitations and standards.
- Recommends revision of specifications when indicated.
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic principles, methods, technologies, and practices of a professional/ technical field.
- General knowledge of procedures and activities within own work area.
- Applies research, information gathering and analytical skills.
- Works on assignments where judgment is required most of the time.
- Be an Approved Signatory to issue SAC endorsed report, to take responsibility for the validity and ensure adequacy of test result, design quality control programs, set action criteria and take corrective action when required.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology/ Biochemistry or related discipline or Diploma with minimum 3 to 5 years of experience.
