Senior Associate / AVP, Operational Risk, COO Office, Global Financial Markets (GFM)

About This Role

Seeking a Senior Associate/AVP in Operational Risk for DBS GFM to support governance, risk, and control activities across Global Financial Markets. This role involves policy implementation, risk reviews, and process enhancement.

Responsibilities

• Provide secretariat support for key committees, including approvals and reviews.
• Drive outsourcing reviews with desks and project teams through assessments and coordination.
• Oversee the regional GFM GES process, including enhancements and monitoring.
• Conduct RCSA, EWRA, and ad hoc reviews to strengthen risk controls.
• Drive automation and digitalization of monitoring and reporting processes.
• Support operational risk training rollout and track professional development.

Requirements

• 6+ years in operational risk, capital markets, or outsourcing risk review (banking ideal).
• Strong knowledge of Global Markets and operational risk.
• Ability to work independently while managing end-to-end execution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for all levels.
• Well-organized with strong planning and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
