About This Role
Traveloka seeks a Legal Manager in Singapore to serve as Regional Counsel for APAC markets (Australia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines). This role provides high-level legal advisory and manages local compliance risks across four key territories.
Responsibilities
- Provide commercially-minded legal advice on matters in AU, KR, MY, PH.
- Advise on regulatory compliance (data privacy, employment, consumer protection).
- Manage legal risks related to corporate matters and entity governance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements across the four territories.
- Monitor regulatory developments in target markets proactively.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and external regulators.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Admitted in Singapore or a common law jurisdiction preferred.
- In-house experience, ideally in tech/e-commerce.
- Exposure to one or more target markets (AU, KR, MY, PH).
- Grounding in multi-jurisdictional law (employment, corporate, consumer protection).
- Ability to combine legal rigor with sound commercial judgment.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, autonomous, and solutions-oriented approach.
