Corporate Finance (Business Valuation), Associate - Assistant Manager

About This Role

KPMG Advisory seeks an Associate/Assistant Manager in Singapore for Corporate Finance (Business Valuation). Lead valuation engagements across various contexts, from M&A to litigation support.

Responsibilities

• Execute independent valuations for businesses, assets, and financial instruments.
• Produce and analyze financial models underpinning forecasts.
• Lead pitching for new work, including proposal preparation.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff on valuation services.
• Collaborate with Partners on client and practice development.

Requirements

• Relevant academic background with accounting/finance qualification preferred.
• 2-5 years' valuation experience in an accounting/professional services firm.
• Strong grasp of business and intangible assets valuation concepts.
• Proficiency in financial instruments valuation is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and report writing skills.
• Understanding of business dynamics and commercial value drivers.
• Self-motivated with a strong grasp of financial issues in a commercial context.
• Ability to work independently and build senior management relationships.
