About This Role

A Fire Systems Assistant Manager role at Marina Bay Sands requires a Diploma or degree, 3+ years of hands-on experience in hotel/museum operations, and certification as a Certified Fire Safety Manager to ensure uninterrupted fire system maintenance and emergency response.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining all related Fire Systems and equipment to ensure uninterrupted services.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining normal operation of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, Fire Protection Systems.
  • Assist to oversee any other systems or equipment as assigned to accordingly.
  • Responsible for implementing and enforcing safe work practices and establishing and updating the activity-based Risk Assessment.
  • Responsible for procuring of all essential equipment, tools, spares and supplies for the team.
  • To actively be involved with managing the sections' budget allocation and to keep track and documentation of all expenses.

Requirements

  • Diploma and degree in related field preferred.
  • Certified Fire Safety Manager.
  • Relevant Employment Certificate or Work Testimony, any specialized Certifications will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of solid hands-on practical working experience in any Hotel, MICE, Retail or Museum providing Emergency Response, Customers Service, Operations supports, and maintenance on fire and life safety systems.
  • Understanding of local regulations, standards and ordinances on Facilities operations and maintenance
  • Possess good communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills, with an eye for details.
  • Possess good understanding of Fire and Life Safety Systems.
