[LTA-RDG] SENIOR CLOUD ENGINEER

[What the role is] SENIOR CLOUD ENGINEER [What you will be working on] We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with a proven track record of managing production environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure-as-code. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a deep understanding of how to bridge the gap between software development and systems operations to support our railway digitalisation goals. Technical Skills Expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), with a preference for AWS Solutions Architect associates or professionals. Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS). Deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go for automation tasks. Experience in monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM, VPC security groups, and encryption at rest/transit. Key Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on system reliability. A proactive and independent learner who can lead technical initiatives. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex infrastructure concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Collaborative mindset with experience working in DevOps or SRE cultures. Detail-oriented approach to documentation and architectural mapping. [What we are looking for] Background knowledge in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline. At least 3 years of relevant work experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles. Professional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, CKA) will be an advantage. The postiion may require officer to participate in an on-call rotation if necessary for critical system support.
