Development of testing capability for advanced photonic devices as part of NSTIC Silicon Photonics team.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and perform wafer-level tester for photonic devices
- Perform routine measurement tasks of fiber array alignment, calibration, electrical probe (DC probes, RF probes)
- Develop advanced testing capabilities to improve efficiency, including automated wafer-level measurements, calibration flow/routine
- Perform data analysis and documentation for development of in-house PDK
- Laboratory management including facilities, health and safety, equipment calibration, inventory and stocktake, procurement activities
- Collaborate with project team to ensure quality and on-time delivery for various projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Opto-electronics or equivalent
- More than 2 years hands-on experience in photonics/optoelectronic device testing
- Experience with optical and electronic test instruments such as tunable laser sources, optical power meter, polarization management, network analyzers, source measure units
- Experience with experimental data acquisition and analysis using scripts (Python, Labview, etc are acceptable)
- Strong skills in problem-solving, communication and providing technical presentations
- Skillsets in programming or instrument automation is a plus
