About This Role
A job posting for an Operations Technical Officer at Keppel, a Singapore-based infrastructure company, seeking candidates with 5+ years of Combined Cycle Power Plant experience and DCS knowledge to manage plant operations, safety compliance, and CMMS implementation.
Responsibilities
- Operate the power plant according to procedures including starting, loading, and shutting down systems.
- Support ASCE/SCE/PSCE to meet contractual, technical, and commercial set-up requirements.
- Troubleshoot plant process conditions and analyze testing when necessary.
- Monitor, control, and record plant operating data from the DCS in the Control Room.
- Carry out isolation/normalization of equipment as required by the Permit To Work System.
- Understand and handle plant chemistry, including waste discharge management.
Requirements
- Minimum Higher National Diploma or Certificate in an engineering discipline.
- Preferred experience with a relevant engineering discipline and accompanying technical knowledge.
- Entry level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- NTC 2/ certified boiler attendant is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years operation experience in Combined Cycle Power Plants with DCS operations knowledge.
- Ideally involvement in technical and maintenance aspects of Gas Turbines.
- Some experience in the erection, commissioning, and initial start-up phases of modern Power Stations is preferred.
