AVP, Site Reliability Engineer (Murex), Global Financial Markets Technology, Group Technology

In Group Technology, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Responsibilities Provide functional and technical support for Murex and GFM applications to ensure stable production operations Support users across Front Office, Back Office, Finance, and Credit, including direct engagement with traders during market hours for time‑sensitive issues Analyze, own, and resolve production incidents impacting trading, risk, finance, or downstream processes, coordinate with cross-functional teams to restore normal operations Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve reliability and scalability Collaborate with development teams to test and deploy new features, enhancements, and bug fixes Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes, documentation, and knowledge sharing Automate support and operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support or weekend implementations as needed Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role, supporting mission-critical financial applications Hands‑on experience with Murex, including modules such as eTradepad, Simulation, Limits, Livebook, MXML, Datamart, and related components Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex production issues under time pressure Comfortable operating in a Front Office trading environment, supporting time‑sensitive activities and managing urgent issues during market hours Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, including traders, operations, finance, credit, and IT teams Experience working collaboratively in a fast‑paced, high‑availability financial systems environment Knowledge of SQL, scripting/programming languages, and automation tools to support operational efficiency Continuous learning mindset and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies Apply Now We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and the professional advantages of a dynamic environment that supports your development and recognises your achievements.
