About This Role
Lead a large, geographically distributed team in Site Reliability Engineering for Application and Infrastructure support at DBS. Drive service stability by proactively managing incidents, reducing MTTR, and implementing SRE principles.
Responsibilities
- Manage Production Support across App/Infra globally, ensuring SLA adherence.
- Drive MTTR reduction by 20% and enforce SOPs for recovery.
- Identify and automate production support tasks to eliminate toil.
- Drive application/infrastructure improvements (performance, resilience) via automation.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis with partners post-incident resolution.
- Manage Incident/Problem Management processes across Infra and Application domains.
Requirements
- 10-15 years in Banking with 5+ years in RTB Lead role.
- Strong SRE implementation across App/Infra (monitoring, alerting).
- Proven automation experience for Infra & Application support tasks.
- Deep technical knowledge: RDBMS, Unix/Linux, Cloud platforms.
- Experience with container platforms (e.g., OpenShift).
- Understanding of SLAs, SLIs/SLOs, and Incident Management.
- Knowledge of capacity planning, DR/BCP, and compliance.
- Strong collaborator with global teams and vendors.
