About the role
The Senior Executive Civil & Structural Engineer oversees daily civil and structural works, manages Resident Technical Officers, and ensures project compliance and quality. The role involves monitoring progress, handling inspections, and coordinating with stakeholders on major construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily civil and structural works according to specifications and the Building Control Act.
- Manage Resident Technical Officers supervising architectural, structural, and M&E disciplines.
- Monitor project progress, identify issues, implement corrective actions, and assist in preparing site activity reports.
- Ensure all works comply with BCA requirements, building codes, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct inspections, quality control, and oversee temporary works and material/sample testing, including overseas yard inspections.
- Maintain accurate site records, schedules, safety compliance, attend project meetings, and communicate with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years civil engineering experience, with at least 3 years site management/supervision on major construction projects.
- Relevant qualification recognized by Singapore's Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
- Accreditation by the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of IES and ACES.
- Proficiency in contract administration under Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC) and knowledge of statutory requirements, site management, quality control, and progress reporting.
- Ability to lead Resident Technical Officers in monitoring, supervising, and inspecting works.
- Willingness to work overtime and/or shift work as required.
