About the role
The Operations Technician (Water Cluster) is responsible for operating and maintaining a water/wastewater treatment plant on Jurong Island, ensuring plant availability, compliance with customer contracts and NEA discharge specifications, and performing routine mechanical, sampling, and safety tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Maximize plant availability and reliability by following SOPs and meeting contract and NEA specifications
- Coordinate with customers' control rooms on water/wastewater flow and quality compliance
- Enforce HSE standards and manage maintenance work through Permit-to-Work and physical inspection
- Follow and enforce SOPs/SWPs at all times while working in the plant
- Manage process upsets and equipment malfunctions, seeking engineering assistance as needed
- Perform first‑line maintenance tasks such as comparing measurements and topping up demineralized water for TOC analyzer
Requirements
- ITE/Diploma with knowledge of Water/Wastewater treatment (advantageous)
- Experience in plant operations related to Water/Wastewater treatment
- Valid driving license for commuting to Jur
