Internship role supporting metering activities in Sembcorp's Gas & Related Services, involving site visits, data collection, and analysis of energy and utility metering data.

Key Responsibilities
- Shadow engineers on site visits to GT/ST power generation & electrical systems (LV, MV Switchgear, transformers, MCC)
- Perform site visits to utility supply systems, control system (PLC/DCS) and metering
- Carry out energy & utilities metering site checks to ensure compliance to relevant procedures and standards
- Gather metering data from historian (Honeywell PHD system)
- Compile data from metering systems, create graphs and analysis to monitor abnormal data readings and minimize revenue losses due to meter inaccuracies
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Background in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications and cloud storage (preferred)
- Some knowledge of control systems, instrumentation or electrical systems (preferable)
- Organizational skills and good communication skills
