About the role
The Principal Architect (Manager level) at Sembcorp Specialised Construction leads the architectural team, oversees design and construction phases, ensures compliance with client requirements, building codes, and HSE standards, and manages tender, contract, and handover processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the architectural team and coordinate with other disciplines
- Formulate project briefs and develop design concepts
- Present design proposals to clients
- Coordinate with clients, multidisciplinary QPs, engineers, and designers
- Supervise and approve architectural items and shop drawings during construction
- Prepare and submit building plan clearances in compliance with codes and regulations
Requirements
- Qualified Person (QP) certification required
- Professional architecture or engineering qualification (e.g., degree in Architecture or Engineering)
- Extensive experience in architectural design and project management within construction industry
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and permitting processes
- Proven ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with HSE integration in design
