About the role
The Global Quality Assurance Manager leads Thales' quality function for programs, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and customer satisfaction. The role oversees a multinational team, manages customer feedback, and drives continuous improvement across the program lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer feedback and develop/implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Build customer confidence by maintaining direct links with customers' Quality managers and resolving problems promptly.
- Ensure customer needs are understood and define appropriate quality standards for the entity.
- Assure quality throughout the program life cycle and monitor execution via independent program quality advice.
- Analyze data to identify and prevent risks, and fulfill alert and veto duties.
- Optimize allocation of quality resources, manage talent development, and ensure compliance with normative and certification standards.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in engineering, preferably systems engineering with software development knowledge.
- Experience in quality management, especially in systems engineering, with detailed knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
- Working experience in quality assurance for complex, safety‑critical projects.
- Strong leadership, strategic influencing, and analytical/problem‑solving skills (e.g., 8D methodology).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and diplomacy skills; ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
