Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Engineering Environment capabilities to support Engineering Disciplines & Projects by: Providing the right level of support to RUN operations across all solutions (Engineering Factories on-premises and in the Cloud) with a defined SLA Planning, estimating, and managing BUILD activities in line with business objectives and priorities Supporting, with IS/IT & ECC (of each country/site) and TDF, the deployment, configuration, and administration of networks, environments, and tools necessary for engineering activities, while ensuring compliance with local security rules Managing COTS/OSS and licences for tooled development environments in accordance with AMS Engineering headquarters
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, IT, or a related discipline Essential Experience Experience working within a large international organisation and complex project environment Understanding of Agile culture and familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean frameworks Knowledge of software engineering environments in a Cloud environment Demonstrated ability to achieve effective outcomes in a multi‑discipline, multi‑culture environment Ability to coach and share knowledge Capability to manage stakeholders with different objectives Positive attitude combined with excellent interpersonal and motivational skills Comfort with facing and managing complexity Sound judgement and independent decision-making capability where necessary Desirable Agile software development experience Cloud networking skills Cyber security knowledge (e.g., risk assessment techniques, threat modelling approaches, cybersecurity threats, and best practices)
