Key Responsibilities

  • Define the Project IVV and Transition Strategy Develop and maintain the IVVQ Plan Define and monitor IVV KPIs and make recommendations on strategies to improve performance and productivity Proactively participate in Program Increment planning and backlog refinement including contributing to the effort estimation Lead IVV technical gate reviews both internal and with the Customer Contribute to the capitalisation and continuous improvement of IVV practices Identify risks and propose effective solution early to mitigate Actively participate in program configuration control boards (CCBs) and make defect priority recommendations Actively participate in technical working groups both internally and externally Actively participate in technical status reviews Promote knowledge sharing and ensuring that work is captured sufficiently for re-use across projects Provide support to bids, produce/review Engineering Cost estimates for any modification proposals to the functional baseline Provide support during the analysis of Customers requirements to propose and negotiate win–win solution responses with Customers based in Australia and worldwide Ensure clear communications (written and verbal) with external customers Manage customer scope iaw approved baseline/schedule Deliver iaw Thales processes and practises and contribute to their improvement Knowledge, Skills &

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or other relevant qualification Essential Experience Test Engineering experience in complex software centric safety critical based systems (7+ years).
  • Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment (2+ years)
  • Solid knowledge and experience in Systems and Software Engineering lifecycles (eg.
  • EIA632, ISO/IEC15288)
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders across a complex environment Solid experience in leading and mentoring multi-skilled engineering team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment Strong ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including Project, Engineering Delivery Managers, Product Owners, Technical Design Authorities, Speciality engineers and the engineering team.
  • Collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence etc.
