Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer and stakeholder requirements and translate them into system and cost implications Collaborate with architects and engineers to assess scalability, integration, and deployment strategies Prepare total cost of ownership (TCO) models Support bid and proposal teams with cost estimates and work package definitions Engage with customer to explain the efforts for solution costing Develop and maintain technical documentation related to proposals (e.g., scope statements, input/output specs, interface specs, integration assumptions)
- Participate in technical review and validation activities as required Collaborate with internal team members/contractors to ensure timely delivery of technical work packages Oversee, execute and implement the awarded Variation Orders by managing the requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline Minimum 5 years' experience in systems engineering/analyst role Strong analytical and communication skills—able to translate between technical and business audiences Experience preparing cost or effort estimates for technical projects Experience with sub-contractors / vendors management, security projects, complex IT projects or government systems is a plus Exposure to systems engineering frameworks (e.g., INCOSE ASEP/CSEP) or government IT projects is a plus At Thales, we're committed to fostering a workplace where respect, trust, collaboration, and passion drive everything we do.
