About the role
Thales seeks a Mobile Software Engineer (Android) to design, develop, and support mobile SDKs for a digital payment and authentication platform. The role involves improving the technology baseline, prototyping, and providing advanced customer support.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in design, implementation, and validation of mobile SDK and application within the R&D project team following institutional processes and delivery standards
- Participate in the design and development of mobile SDKs
- Contribute to improving the existing technology platform and development methodology through prototyping and patent proposals
- Provide troubleshooting and SL3 support for customers
Requirements
- Degree in Information Security, Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, or related field
- Approximately 5 years of mobile technology experience with strong Android development knowledge
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin; native development experience is a plus
- Knowledge of object‑oriented design, unit testing, and test automation
- Experience with continuous integration and build automation using Jenkins and Gradle
- Motivated self‑starter with strong logical, creative problem‑solving and analytical skills
