About the role

The Sr. Manager, Head of Ad Sales will lead Netflix's advertising sales strategy and market entry across Southeast Asia, overseeing new market launches, team leadership, and revenue growth. The role requires deep advertising ecosystem knowledge, strong agency relationships, and the ability to drive programmatic and cross‑functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead launch, growth, and ongoing management of new Southeast Asian markets (Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia), defining go‑to‑market approach, building pipeline, and establishing scalable sales processes.
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the advertising sales team across SEA.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agency holding groups, agencies, and clients to secure ad partnerships and drive revenue growth.
  • Partner with programmatic partners to scale the programmatic offering in the market.
  • Collaborate with Ad Product, Marketing, Content, Measurement, and Partnership Development teams to ensure successful delivery of advertising campaigns.
  • Leverage Netflix's audience insights and premium content to achieve revenue targets and monitor market trends and competitor activity for innovation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of advertising (including sales) experience with a proven record of delivering revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated success opening and scaling new digital advertising markets, building a book of business from early stage and defining GTM strategy.
  • Strong people management and leadership experience leading high‑performing teams.
  • Experience in TV, CTV, digital advertising sales, and programmatic (preferred) with an established network across agencies and clients in SEA.
