Key Responsibilities

  • The role and responsibility of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) is to provide Airbus Helicopters (AH) worldwide customers with Technical Assistance for their helicopter fleets.
  • The LAME are mechanical: B1.3 and avionic: B2 specialists type rated on Airbus Helicopters products preferably on H225.
  • The LAME holds an European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)
  • Part 66 license in order to provide technical support as follows: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with applicable and approved documentation (Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) / Repair Design Approval Sheet (RDAS) / Service Bulletin (SB) / other Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) documentation)
  • Rectification of all defects reported Ensure zero defect post inspection/retrofit Provide field services support locally Carry out on-the-job training of customer's personnel, when requested Answer to questions by on-site customers related to the performance of the maintenance tasks (in accordance with the agreed maintenance plan)
  • Give feedback in the set-up of the maintenance planning (monthly and weekly planning)

Requirements

  • Diploma in Engineering or related At least 10 years or more working experience on Airbus Helicopters product Must possess an EASA Part 66 License with Airbus Helicopters Type Rating Human Factor / Part 145 / Foreign Object Debris training valid currency Excellent communication skills & ability to work on own initiative Customer care minded
  • Customer satisfaction oriented.
  • Available to work with customers outside of working hours as needed Adaptable and professional / positive behaviour Leadership and autonomy.
  • Emotional intelligence Problem solving mind set and innovative Strong organizational awareness English fluency required
