About the role
Intern will assist in building and supporting data pipelines on CapitaLand's Enterprise Data Platform, perform data processing tasks for various business use cases, and help prepare datasets for stakeholders. Requires current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, strong understanding of Python or Java with OOP experience, and willingness to learn new tools.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building, testing, and supporting data pipelines on CapitaLand's Enterprise Data Platform (EDP)
- Support data processing tasks for various business use cases across the organization
- Assist in preparing and organizing datasets to support internal and business stakeholders
- Help with documentation, data quality checks, and other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Strong understanding of Python or Java, with hands-on experience applying object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts through academic or internship projects
- Willingness to learn and explore new tools and technologies related to data engineering and analytics infrastructure
- Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude
- Familiar with SQL (e.g. Spark SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) will be an advantage
- Exposure to cloud-based data engineering platforms and big data tools, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Spark, or Hive (a plus, but not required)
