The Banca Specialist Manager oversees the strategic partnership between the organization and banking institutions to drive insurance product distribution. This leadership role focuses on managing high-level relationships, executing sales strategies, and ensuring channel profitability through bank-led sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture strategic relationships with banking partners to ensure business alignment and growth.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve bancassurance revenue targets and KPIs.
  • Oversee the integration of insurance products into bank distribution channels and digital platforms.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with bank partners to identify areas for improvement and market expansion.
  • Lead and mentor a team of specialists to provide support to bank branches and sales staff.
  • Organize and facilitate product training sessions for bank relationship managers and sales teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to design tailored insurance offerings for bank customers.
  • Ensure all bancassurance activities comply with local financial regulations and internal audit standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in bancassurance, insurance sales, or bank relationship management.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale financial partnerships and achieving sales quotas.
  • Strong understanding of life insurance, general insurance, and financial wealth products.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing distributed or field-based sales teams.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing the banking and insurance sectors.
  • Ability to travel regularly to bank branches and regional partner offices.
  • Professional certification in insurance or financial planning is highly preferred.
