Audit Manager for Group Governance and Corporate Functions Audit at OCBC, responsible for supporting Group-wide audit engagements, conducting audits on financial crime compliance, operational risk, regulatory compliance, and corporate functions, and building stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Group Portfolio Leads and/or Senior Audit Managers in Group-wide audit engagements, including planning, scoping, risk assessments and communication.
- Ensure risks and control deficiencies related to governance framework, risk management, regulatory compliance processes and internal control systems are identified, assessed, and reported.
- Conduct Group-wide audits/reviews on Financial Crime Compliance (including fraud risk), Operational Risk Management (including BCM, Self-assessment, Third-party Risk Management), Legal and Regulatory Compliance, and key corporate functions activities (HR, Brand & Communications, Corporate Secretariat, Property & Procurement).
- Participate in advisory services and ad-hoc reviews to add value and improve governance, risk management, and control processes without assuming management responsibility.
- Work as business partners with stakeholders and senior leadership to communicate audit findings and agree on risk mitigation and remediation actions.
- Foster strong relationships with business and act as trusted advisor on risk and controls related to financial crime compliance, operational risk management, and corporate functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Accountancy).
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CIA, and/or ACAMS are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing or other risk control functions is preferred; open to promising junior candidates.
- Strong understanding of risks and controls pertaining to Banking, with focus on financial crime compliance, regulatory compliance, operational risk management, and corporate functions.
- Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills, with ability to translate technical issues into business context for senior management.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member, with analytical skills to perform detailed work while seeing the big picture.
