Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to cyber security alerts generated by cyber defence and monitoring tools
- Analyse alerts to identify trends, abnormalities, and potential threats, supporting timely and appropriate response
- Perform health monitoring of enterprise systems and assets to ensure visibility and resilience
- Identify opportunities to fine-tune detection rules and improve the effectiveness of security monitoring
- Assist the Cyber Security Operations team in daily activities and ongoing improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Keen to learn and explore cyber security operations in an enterprise environment
- Analytical, observant, and comfortable working with technical information
- Able to communicate clearly and work effectively within a team
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
- Possess foundational technical knowledge in networks, operating systems, and cyber security concepts
- Exposure to cyber security tools is an advantage but not required
