About the role
This is a 5-month internship (Aug–Dec 2026) in Global Corporate Banking focused on the Greater China Business Office for Global Metals & Mining. The intern will support client coverage, market research, and deal execution for metals and mining companies.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market and industry research on metals and mining sectors
- Prepare client presentations and pitch materials
- Support senior bankers in deal execution and transaction processes
- Assist with financial modeling and valuation analyses
- Monitor market developments and compile briefing notes for the team
- Coordinate internal meetings and client communications
- Maintain and update client databases and industry databases
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program (graduation after December 2026)
- Strong academic record with coursework in finance, economics, business, or related fields
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Prior internship or extracurricular experience in finance or banking preferred
- Interest in metals and mining industries
- Available full-time from August to December 2026
