About the role
This role involves managing daily collateral operations and margin calling for OTC derivatives and repo transactions. The analyst will ensure timely settlement, resolve valuation disputes, and maintain compliance with global margin regulations such as UMR.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily margin call processes for bilateral and cleared OTC derivatives, Repo, and Securities Lending products
- Issue and respond to margin calls in accordance with CSA and GMRA legal agreements
- Analyze and resolve valuation disputes with counterparties through trade-level reconciliation
- Coordinate the movement of cash and security collateral with custodians and settlement teams
- Monitor aged collateral balances and follow up on failed settlements to mitigate operational risk
- Ensure adherence to Uncleared Margin Rules (UMR) and other regulatory reporting requirements
- Collaborate with Risk, Legal, and Front Office departments to streamline collateral workflows
- Maintain accurate records of collateral positions and perform periodic portfolio reconciliations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field
- Proven experience in collateral management, margin operations, or financial middle-office functions
- Deep understanding of ISDA/CSA, GMRA, and GMSLA documentation and market standards
- Familiarity with financial products including derivatives, fixed income, and repo trades
- Proficiency in using collateral management platforms such as TriResolve or AcadiaSoft
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and process automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict market cut-off times
