The position is responsible for ensuring that group entities align with corporate strategy while maintaining robust internal controls and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive group oversight and governance framework
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and risk metrics across various business units
  • Facilitate risk management reviews and provide strategic guidance to executive leadership teams
  • Coordinate with internal and external audit teams to ensure compliance with global standards and local regulations
  • Drive operational excellence and process improvement initiatives across the group's global footprint
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment between corporate goals and departmental execution
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend enhancements to mitigate operational risks
  • Oversee the integration of strategic initiatives and monitor their progress against group targets

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate governance, risk management, or strategic planning
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Proven track record in a Vice President (VP) or Executive Director (ED) level role within a large multinational organization
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and corporate governance best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex strategic datasets
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead senior-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Experience in the semiconductor or advanced manufacturing industry is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex governance issues to the board
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Risk Management is an advantage
