About the role
OCBC is seeking a VP/AVP for Financial Institutions Relationship Management to manage a portfolio of bank clients, drive new partnerships, and promote financial institution products across Asia. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Economics, 5-10 years of relevant experience, strong product knowledge in transaction banking and capital markets, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities
- Be the global relationship manager for a portfolio of clients, comprising mainly from the Bank Segment
- Strengthen the bank's market position as one of the key 'go-to' partner banks in Asia
- Drive new relationship initiatives, including developing new partnerships, and originating new transactions
- Leverage on the bank's platform, leading cross-functional teams to drive deal execution
- Joint customer visits/calls conducted with product partners or senior managers in understanding client's business and obtaining new business
- Promote financial institutions products across Transaction Banking Services, Loans & Trade Finance Solutions, Debt Capital Markets & Global Markets
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or related fields
- Experience in covering banks across the APAC region and equipped with good writing and presentation skills
- Strong Product knowledge of transaction banking, Trade Finance, Treasury and Capital Markets would be an advantage
- Mastery of Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive) required
- Good team player who is driven, pro-active with a positive attitude and comfortable with a dynamic, fast-changing environment
- Recommended minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant working experience
