About the role
Senior Project Manager role within a semiconductor capital equipment company, responsible for leading complex customer projects from pre-sales through installation and acceptance. Position involves global travel to customer sites, cross-functional leadership of engineering and service teams, and direct accountability for project P&L and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project execution for semiconductor capital equipment installations at customer sites worldwide
- Serve as primary customer interface throughout project lifecycle from pre-sales to final acceptance
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, field service, and quality
- Drive risk identification and mitigation strategies for technical and commercial challenges
- Manage project P&L with accountability for cost, schedule, and quality metrics
- Conduct regular project reviews with customers and internal stakeholders
- Oversee site preparation, equipment installation, commissioning, and qualification activities
- Facilitate technical training and knowledge transfer to customer operations teams
- Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements and quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or related technical field; MBA preferred
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing
- PMP certification required
- Proven track record managing complex capital equipment projects exceeding $10M in value
- Experience with semiconductor fab processes and cleanroom environments
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability to manage project P&L
- Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel internationally up to 50% of the time
- Experience working with global, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones
- Proficiency in project management tools and ERP systems
- Knowledge of semiconductor industry standards and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and resolve complex engineering challenges
- Strong negotiation skills for managing contracts and vendor relationships
- Experience with Six Sigma or lean manufacturing methodologies preferred
