About the role
Experienced Data Engineer at the Assistant Vice President level responsible for designing and scaling high-performance data architectures in a manufacturing context. This role leads technical efforts to integrate MES and ERP data streams into unified platforms for yield analysis and operational business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows to support real-time manufacturing analytics
- Architect and maintain robust data warehouse solutions to integrate disparate industrial and business data sources
- Lead technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance for data-driven projects
- Optimize complex SQL queries and database performance to handle large-scale semiconductor manufacturing datasets
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define data requirements for supply chain and production optimization
- Establish and enforce data governance and security standards across the enterprise data platform
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical development pods on complex data engineering initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in data engineering or software development
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and analysis
- Proven experience with Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka
- Demonstrated track record of managing cloud-based data infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques including Star Schema and Snowflake designs
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems such as MES or ERP is highly preferred
- Ability to translate complex technical architectures into business-relevant insights for senior leadership
